CCPA: As a nonprofit organization, InterEnvironment Institute is exempt from requirements of the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, Civil Code Sec. 1798.100 et seq. However, we do not collect or sell personal information.

GDPR: Insofar as the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union applies to organizations and individuals based in the United States, InterEnvironment Institute intends to comply with its requirements regarding processing of personal information of individuals. Specifically, we do not collect or sell personal information.

InterEnvironment Institute respects the privacy of its online visitors. This statement  discloses our policy in terms of the information we collect and how we use it.

InterEnvironment Institute maintains a statistical record of website use and traffic and uses tools (Google Analytics and others) to understand the demographic makeup of website visitors and their engagement with content. Analysis of this information reveals which pages are most often visited and the domains from which people visit the site. Identifying these trends helps us to provide more useful information to visitors. No  personal information is collected during this process.
